If I can recommend to anyone. Rather join a club.
I just did, and it was the best idea.
Ive learnt so much, and you get to meet cool like minded people. Plus you get to know of new fishing spots
Seriously, don't waste your time with searching for facebook / whatsapp group etc.
You are looking to fish in groups in anycase, you might as well join a fishing club

Guy's please take EXTREME caution when fishing False Bay, we had a very close encounter at our favourite fishing hole yesterday and we were lucky to get away unscathed, be vigilant and keep safe...
Howzit guys..Im back ..had a fishing sabbatical and Ive actually missed this thread..just gone a read it through from start to present..WOW...BRILLIANT camraderie ...I will post upto date weather again as I am fishing flat out mys side...after all said n done about safety in fishing , last march 2018 I was stabbed multipile times while out on a morning run in a built up suburb...4 times in the left arm and once in the chest cavity just under my armpit and 0ne inch from the heart...so it was more of a mental recovery than anything else AND prior to that in 2017 June I had a nasty experience and got washed off of the rocks quite badly at one of our local fishing spots...BUT..Im FIT again and in top gear for fishing....
That out of the way here is the synoptic for this weekend and you CT okies have a high pressure hanging over your heads BUT I fear you will have a rapidly dropping barometer come Sunday morning ....we have a big sea here and gale east , so its lock down for me:?
Tight lines guys and lets see those fishy pics on Monday
