What can a person say without saying too much or maybe too little!
The boat that set the standard for all ski-boats to follow.....even before the legendary 40 year old Z-Crafts (King Cats) which are machines!
Build since the 60's, originally from wood
Twice as heavy
Over the top driving over, under and through everything!
Finish like none other
My boat is 15 years old and when I see it I want to lick it!
Sadly Ace Craft died in 1994, the forerunner of Mallards Swifts and Cobra's
When the 660 Sea Glyder went out of production she was the highest rated boat ever tested by Ski Boat magazine
How many builders are capitalising on the ACE logo somewhere in their product?
I have learned the way of the sea on my small 16' centre console, my first hard boat.
She has been kind to me considering the sort of unbound craziness her and me share for wild places which no 4x4 can provide...5 years a Mozambiquean at Seta in Inhasorro, and before that a M'pondo where she knows all the treacherous rivers and the fickle weather of the Wild Coast stand up freak waves!
MANY overnight drifts from Shelley to Msikaba behind the shipping line with good men!
Also too patient at the South Coast clubs waiting for the boss in the watering holes while she hasn't been washed yet
Or just drifting down the backlines snorkeling, or taking diving okes out when the sards are thick!
Or boozecruizes or hauling people around on waterski's....
I'm bleeding from the eyes!!!
