Reporting a Post

To all Members

A quick reminder on how to use the REPORT POST function on Sealine!

Moderation is a TASK with the sheer amount of posts made across the various angling disciplines on SEALINE. We do try our very best to keep SEALINE a "family based" website. We ask for members to assist us by making use of the "report this post" function on SEALINE. Reporting a post that is not inline with the rules of the site, assists as an early warning signal. The report goes directly to Admin, and passed onto a moderater.

This will help moderators to attend to issues quicker.

Together we can make Sealine a pleasurable and informative site for all.

if you suspect a member with more than one name please feel free to pm me or mail me on ofc@sealine.co.za

@Serra, when you report a post or a members breaking of Sealine rules you stay totally anonymous! Only Emperor has access to reported posts, he then sorts it out from there by giving it over to one of the mods!!!

It depends on the offence Waldok!

but Sealine rules are that :

step1: final warning

step2: first yellow card

step3: second and last yellow card(that can go with suspension and/or demotion)

step4: red card ( member gets banned!)

Dear Admin. Yesterday I tried the "report this post" button. Needless to say this morning, more than 18 hours later the foul language used in the post has still not been addressed.

I rest my case.

Dear Flatstick!

please send me the link and i will sort it out for you right now! We (admin) do try and address things asap, but we also have dayjobs and normal day to day responsibilities in our private lives! Emps, who gets the reports, has had a hell of a busy few last days, if that was not the case im sure your report would have been sorted out sooner!!!

sorry for that, we do try our best to sort things out as quick as we can!!!
