We are going to Ponta on 11 Feb and I wanted to know where to fish Rock & Surf and what bait and what times and what traces... all the usual stuff!

 

Any help will be appreciated!!

Around the point area of Ponta towards Kosi. Nice gullies there.
Best bait: Small live stumpie, caranteen or squid, small bonnie fillet on the slide / normal trace with sliding sinker or throw a popper for a GT.
Best time to fish: Early morning at sunrise and late afternoon.

I would love to get more info on Rock & Surf fishing with bait.

I am not used to the fishing in Northern Natal/Moz. I used to stay in PE and fished the league there extensively, but it is very different up here.
