Yes thanks oom koper. I've been a member since 2011 and it's the first time I see it and wow, such a great post. I almost feel I gained super powers. Can't wait to get to the water to test my powers. Thanks Guys

I been browsing around the web for a while and came across this information about reading rock and surf conditions. I just compiled it into a word document. All credit goes to the original author.

What an amazing thread - Thanks guys.

I would like to know something though.

When guys talk about searching for holes what do they refer to? Are they rocks which are now washed open which was previously filled with sand or are they actual holes on the ocean floor?

If they are actual holes on the sea bed how does one spot this as this is never really shown or explained in any thread or online research i have done.

Can someone please elaborate on this?((goodp_

_seal1_..Great info indeed.....two pics I have posted here are of two of my spots about 100 kays apart on my part of the coast line...the channel/gutter/hole can be clearly seen in both pics....9 times out of ten the fish and especially kob will be on either edge of this channel/gutter/hole hiding just in the white water ready to pounce on unsuspecting bait fish OR your well presented lure.....
