Thankful for assistance

Good morning to all,
I would like to share my experience the past few weeks, and especially yesterday.
I am new to the Cape Town R&S scene after moving here from Port Elizabeth. I have been in Cape Town for 8 years, however never fished much due to work pressure.
I have watched all the Cape Town videos, especially those of Clayton (Reel Angling Adventures), Rean Rademeyer and Wickus (MMM).
It must be said the fishing here is completely different to the Eastern Cape and attempting to figure it out without some assistance is extremely time consuming. Especially if you are trying to get your 6 years old son to appreciate nature, fishing and conservation responsibility. To take your 6-year-old fishing and not catching anything, soon becomes boring for him and he loses interest.
So, I have contacted the above gentlemen and have received guidance without any expectation of any return, thank you gentlemen.
My experience yesterday:
Although I have only spoken to Clayton (Reel Angling Adventures), a few times at the water, he was extremely unselfish in party with his knowledge. Every single time, even while guiding customers, was willing to answer and assist with valuable information.
Yesterday morning I arrived at the area that Clayton suggested. Upon arrival, the tide was low (spring low), and I approached anglers pumping some moonshine worm. The se gentlemen were very eager to part with their knowledge and assisted greatly. Upon me leaving they even gave me a handful of moonshine worm. This was very unexpected and when I proposed to pay them for it, they said then I need to give the worms back. What a wonderful experience in two ways:
Parting freely with knowledge and then giving me bait without any form of return. These gentlemen were driving a maroon older model Rover vehicle. Thank you, gentlemen and hopefully I can return the favour exponentially in the future.
Arriving at the water I looked for likely areas and parked about 50 meters away from a gentlemen fishing. I casted and no bites initially. The gentlemen next to me proceeded to catch a nice galjoen, and to my surprise, invited me to cast at his spot. I immediately hooked into a fish and landed a 54cm wildeperd. What a lovely fish, unhooked and returned the fish. I thank him and introduced myself. What a wonderful person Joey was, answering my questions regarding identifying areas, tides, bait etc.
Thank you, Joey, for your assistance and parting with your knowledge.
What a successful and wonderful day with reel angling gentlemen.
It must also be noted that I caught the wilderperd with:
1. bait given to me
2. fishing on someone else’s spot.

Finally, a very special thank you to the gentlemen in the marron Rover, Joey for allowing me to fish on his spot and next to him, and Clayton from Reel Angling Adventures. Without you gentlemen I would have never been able to improve my angling knowledge regarding the False Bay area.

I am looking forward to meeting you guys at the water and thank you again.

Manna to all of you.

Very nice email, and nice of you to spend time to write it up. Fantastic, kudos to the really nice folk you met.... especially so as times seem so trying at the moment....people are often short of patience and generosity.

Yes Magnum001, I am very appreciative to all that assisted me. It just seems that words cannot describe my thank to these stalwart's of our sport/past time.
I am very great full and had that warm feeling whilst driving home.
