Midlands Saddle and Trout

Going so spend a couple of days at Midlands Saddle and Trout at the end of April. I'm still quite a novice fly fisherman, would appreciate any tips on what flies to use, where to fish, what to expect.

HI bud. it really depends on what type of fly fishing your going to do. are you fishing in streams or dams? floating or sinking line?

I think the resort has a couple of stocked dams, I've got both a basic floating and a sinking setup.
How should I determine if a sinking or floating approach is the way to go? What sort of fly choices should I consider?
