Durban International Boat  and Lifestyle Show

One of the signature events on the Durban calendar, the 2014 Durban International Boat and Lifestyle Show is a must-see for all Durbanites and visitors who enjoy Durban’s incredible all-year-round balmy weather. It takes place exactly where a Boat Show should - on and around the water at the Durban Marina.

If you’ve ever aspired to owing a boat (even if you’re waiting to win the Lotto first) then this is the Show for you. We’ve got everything from one-man dinghies to island-hopping luxury catamarans, along with every shape and size of boat in between, power boats, sail-powered - whatever you fancy. Marine accessories, fishing gear, sailing schools and sailing and boating magazines are strongly featured, as well as sailing and adventure books for your leisure reading.

There’s a huge lifestyle section, featuring rugged off-road vehicles, caravans, trailers and much more. Durban has the best weather in South Africa, so why not take advantage of it and enjoy the great Durban outdoor lifestyle.

There are tons of activities for the kids, and a new on-site beer garden and restaurant area for the adults. Huge prizes are on offer, just waiting to be won, along with Show giveaways to lucky visitors.

Tickets are R50 for adults and R30 for kids over 12 and Senior Citizens. Kids under 12 get in for free when accompanied by an adult. Tickets are available at the entrance to the Show.

Plentiful parking is available at the Esplanade Garage (across Margaret Mngadi Avenue / the Esplanade) opposite the Show entrance, or at Wilson’s Wharf under supervision of the NSRI. There are free Show shuttle buses to transport patrons from Wilson’s to the Show and back, or else you can catch a harbour ferry between Wilson’s and the Show.

It’s time to start a new life - on the water! See you at the Durban International Boat and Lifestyle Show - Durban Marina, Friday 18[sup]th[/sup] to Sunday 20[sup]th[/sup] July!
