Hi.. Have just recieved a Saltiga 50 multiplier 6-9oz. Was wandering if anyone has got one and if it compares favourably to the Poseidon Heavy. How is it for distance with an 8oz. Have teamed it up with a Penn Torque40.

I bought the Saltiga 3-5oz rod, such a lovely balanced rod, mine is paired with the TN16.

I had the Poseidon HMG 3-5oz and I prefer the Saltiga, better blank and components.

I just don't like the wooden butt beneath the reel seat on the Saltiga 50 rod, I prefer grip.
