Hi there Sealiners!
Rising Tide is a brand new rock and surf angling magazine that will be hitting the shelves mid April!
Rising Tide Magazine is a unique bimonthly rock and surf angling magazine which will be committed to advance the sport of rock and surf angling in South Africa. By tapping from the knowledge of experienced anglers we strive to inform anglers on all the different facets of rock and surf angling in South Africa. Further to general angling articles we will also cover spots, bait presentations, species and other interesting topics that will keep you glued to their copies of Rising Tide.
What can you expect from a copy of Rising Tide???
Firstly, you won’t be reading articles from places that do not interest you! We will make sure that we entertain you with material that is relevant! The magazine will be split into sections: West Coast, Western Cape, Boland, Southern Cape and Eastern Cape. We will strive to source good material from all of these places. This is where you come in. Rising Tide is a magazine for the anglers, by the anglers! If you have anything that you want to share with other anglers, send us your fishing reports, photos with short summaries, spot discussions, jokes, angling related stories etc. We will then publish these in the relevant sections of the magazine. You do not have to be a journalist or an academic, send it to us and we will gladly edit it.
Rising Tide is not a large media company based magazine, instead it is a two man magazine! An editor/marketing manager/project manager and a designer. So you can imagine what your input will mean to us. So far the input has been awesome and the first edition is going to knock the socks off any other publication’s rock and surf section!
We will have a dedicated space for Sealine! A space where good Sealine reports and pics will appear!
So it is clear that we want to incorporate you guys as much as possible. Please post your ideas and advice on this thread. Rising Tide is not a large media company based magazine, instead it is a two man magazine!
We can’t wait until we can cover the entire coast of SA, but until then we hope that the guys from the West Coast to the Eastern Cape will support Rising Tide to ensure that the entire coastline won’t have to wait too long!
Please contact us if you are interested in advertising in the Rising Tide. The advertising rates are so cheap that you can even advertise your second-hand rod on 1/8 of a page if you really wanted to! The designing of the adverts are FREE! Pay for your advert 30 days after publication! Please support us with adverts if possible.
You can also order your copy of Rising Tide on Sealine. Please send us a PM and we will sort you out! The first 50 orders will receive a packet of dynabait with their magazine. Your support will be appreciated!
