Hi Guys, I have used coffee grinder my whole life and recently bought a TLD 20/40. Now i have tried casting it for about 5 hours yesterday and find my left hand holding the reel very awkward. Is there a better way of doing it or is it just normal in the beginning?

Wess, however silly this may sound just try it 5 x times, and then decide.Hold the reel in your right hand and cast the rod left-handed.I know your first thought is that your left hand cannot punch half as hard as your right, and that you may have never casted left-handed before. Important is this, keep the reel away from you, with your left-arm fairly straightish and when its time to hit think "PULL" and pull really ,really hard with your right hand which is your strong hand.By pulling very hard around a solid fulcrum point, which is now your fairly straightish left hand you may be amazed at the distance, and added bonus is that you have your"clever" hand controlling/lightly feathering the spool. What can you lose?

What it basically boils down to is to just give casting left-handed a try, especially if you are not adept at having the reel(Multiplier) in the low reel-position ,thus holding the spool with your ''weak'' left-thumb/hand.. Shout for any assistance.
