Please can someone help me, I am sure this question has been asked hundreds of times. I have two Assassin rods - as far as I can remember the one is a LITE - 12’9ft and the other 11'6ft. I need to buy myself a grinder for spinning, spoons, plugs etc. The week-end I looked at Penn Sargus reels and really like them. What would the best option be for these rods in reel size? I would hate buying two reels so I need to find one that will be able to basically handle both rods. Do I look at the 4000, 5000 or 6000? I am really not sure which size would balance better?

I would go for a 6000 shimano stradic maybe an 8000 which is the same reel but a different spool I have 4000 stradic on my 9ft ugly stik and am very happy with it although some might prefer a 5000 on it take your rod with and have a feel everyone has their own pref
