I will give the marker technique a try, but am stiLl enjoying throwing my Xmas bulletproofs as far as I can , I see that there are reels which have a more line-friendy clip. Enigma if I can drift a little off topic, with a few questions for the expert: why 0.8. Or 1 hooks? Why mushroom sinker? I find it much easier to keep bom on a torpedo (but the wei ght is not enough) or spring sinker\dart. Thanks for all your advice and hope we can go fishing one day.

0.8 or #1 because I am focused on competition fishing and hence focused on landing.all the fish I. My swim and not only the big.ones nd due to a carps feeding method the lighter the hook the eassier it'll pick up a small hook and bait. Why such small baits? We draw them in with mieliebom which breaks up into tiny pieces so a lump of bait on a #5 isn't as well camouflaged as an fine dough on a 0.8 Mushroom because your boy is on top of the sinker and not around the sinker. This gives much more stable and aerodynamic flight. To gain even more distance put the baits on the top of the box (hook them in) this stops them fluttering around which can cost you 10m on a M0. Now because of the position of the dog and it's low center of gravity it will sink with sinker on the bottom and the baits on the top so your bait will never get trapped between bol and mud on the bottom. The larger surface area of a Man makes it possible to cast a 14gr harder than a pear shape.

As usual thanks for the reply, I use the 0.8 and #1's , cos the pro's do but wanted to find out why. I will have to try the Mushroom sinkers again, I must maybe play with my bomb consistency. And perhaps when I am done sending every cast as far as I can then the mushrooms will work better for me. Thanks Again Enigma!
