I spent the whole afternoon with not one single bite. At 5:15pm I put my rod in a rod holder at started packing up. At 5:25pm, WHAM!!!!!  ZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!!! Fish on.

Conditions were calm and cloudy. There was a deep channel of about 25m wide running parallel to the shoreline with a sand bank behind that. I caught it using a pink prawn and chokka combo and threw onto the back end of the bank, about 70 to 80m out.

Caught the Kob last Friday and measured 110cm.

Having trouble with my phone in uploading the photo. Will try again later.

Also caught a steenbras of 55cm, blacktail and a stingray. Not sure what type it was as I only target edibles.
