My old lady is going to St francis this weekend or next and i will ask her to get that reel for you.

It's strange how those skippy's have been away for so long in St francis; when we were lighty's we used to clap them in the river and i have not caught one there for many years. Do the skippy's still come in at flat rocks?

Spin,

Mooi fish man, geez that's a beast for the river. Am going to have to go to my Tarpon hole on Sunday to get even with that fish and McCloud's skippy.

haha. just dont loose too many to the mangroves. after too many breakoffs the mangroves will look like xmas trees with all the mirror lures stuck in them.

ja hell. as i noticed each year the skippys have grown by 10cm and as i thought this year they would be around 90cm and its spot on. the fly rod is ready to roll.
Hahahaaaa,remember this fish::S?????

ja blaas. i remember there by the liitle inlet how they used to come dik on the push. the flats dont see them any more. but dam when they were there they were always busses and we often got spooled. the knew exactly which way was out to sea.

Shit man that was some of the best lure fishing i have ever had especially when the south easterly was blowing; i missed many a lecture at UPE because of those fish at flat rocks.

ja. and like we always say as well imagine travelling back 100 years with our boats and tackle. we would be using skippys for live bait for leerys.

Some nice fish posted there guys. I will be collecting my live mullet tonight and keep'em alive in my boats live bait well untill the early hours tomorrow morning until when we will be leaving the P.E. harbour to go and work the surf line from Sundays river down past Black Bush. We are hoping to land a few big Leeries and Kob before heading towards Evans Peak to go catch some elusive Red Steenies. I will post some pics if we catch anything significant.
