Very cool guide Reefman. Just watch out if you're gonna be collecting and fishing with Venus ear / Siffie, in the Knysna area. The boys in green will be on you in a flash. Best bait if you wanna take the risk tho!

Thanks for the headsup... made these guides a long time ago, before Venus Ears/Siffies were banned. I will edit them asap. Breaking the law is never worth the risk!

I agree! There is one bait no one seems to use, and I've had some awesome success on it, and that's sea urchins. Crackers go ga-ga for the stuff, and Romans' can't leave it alone either. Worth a try.

Hi Reefman.

The reports are a great help thanks. Was just wondering if you know of any spots or anyone that knows the spots in Knysna for boat angling. Going up at the begining of next month and would love to have some markers set before we go out on the water.

If you could help, please do.

Much appreciatted.

Andrew

Gary, check with the Parks people, fish license is imperative. Many good reefs and rocky outcrops to find fish at.

Tight lines.
