Best braid to buy for scratching on the West Coast.

There are a sh%t load of info on this forum and the internet on braid. Some of the info very detailed, other short and sweet.

This is a short layout of my rod and grinder. I have a 10" BG power spin rod 1063HFS and a new BG 4000 grinder.

What BRAND of braid will be the best, for scratching on the West Coast.

Will it be J-Braid, Sufix 832 or Power Pro.

You cant go wrong with any of those.

I use the Suffix 832. 20 and 30lb.
I know Xander de Beer uses JDB 8X ULTRA TOUGH 40lb.
Put on 0.5 or 0.65 Nylon leader if you worried about been cut off.

If I can suggest, worry less about the tackle and worry more and concentrate about time at the waters edge.
