Hi All I'm very tempted (during the obligatory Cape winter tackle re-think....) by the Assassin Tempest rods, which should be a quality offering as they're high up in the Assassin range. I'll be using this mainly for estuary spinning/artificials - kob, leerie and shad. Having said that some fairly large specimens come out at the spots I frequent (kob and leerie), so I'm thinking 7 ft MH and Heavy versions. These can obviously also be used on the boat to fish appropriate livebaits etc. I'm also tempted by the MH travel version (3 piece) which is very portable and might sneek onto family holidays etc.... Does anybody have any feedback on these rods? Much appreciated. Last edited on Tue Jul 16th, 2019 02:51 pm by Magnum001 |
