Evening guys first post in a while and sorry if it’s been visited before. I’m off to ponta on the 23rd of June and will be taking a Jetski rigged for fishing. I hear the sailfishing is good this time of year? I’ll be alone and the first time fishing offshore in ponta, I’m an experienced boater and not scared to do a bit of mileage, could anyone give a few pointers as to what would be the best fishing to do when I’m there and perhaps what rigs to use. guys were catching lots of small yellowfin tuna on the troll. I was looking for other fish so ended up going south to the lighthouse then directly out towards the reeds there, I forget the names , then north over the ledge towards pinnacles where I had the most luck but alas almost all was eaten by sharks. Enjoy
