Hi guys

My father, some varsity friends and I are planning a fishing trip in December. Our original plan was to go to Namibia (Terrace bay) but we're thinking of putting in the effort and pushing through to Angola in the area of flamingo lodge. Seeing that the Namibia permits got seriously expensive, I was thinking that the trip should not work out that much more?

Anyways, we're contemplating with going with a guide, but this is also quite expensive. Would you say it is a necessity to go with a guide, or will we be able to locate some good spots on our own (we've never been there and don't know the area) but we are willing to do some serious homework.

Also, any tips, spots, times to go, contacts to speak to, etc. will be much appreciated.
