 Hi guys
I bought the above mentioned rod a few years back with the intentions of using as a scratching rod , i had a daiwa firewolf 40 that i use on my ski,so I used that as the combo.
Once fishing with the setup i felt that the combo was not balanced ,and i felt i wasnt getting the casting distance I should be getting on this setup.
I tried my daiwa sl50 on it and I was getting the same result.

I was thinking of pairing the rod with either a sl20/30 .
Not sure which reel would compli.ent the reel better.

 I have the 13ft and I use my sl 20 or squall 15 and get pretty good distance. I find its nice and balanced
