Hi Guys Compliments of the season to all anglers on Sealine. I need some assistance please guys, i spend 90% of my time Saltwater angling due to living in Durban but most of my life grew up freshwater angling, carp and barbel, fishing dams eg, Heyshope, Wakkerstroom and Chelmsford. Been fishing Albert Falls Dam and Inanda past few years but have never fished Midmar before. I really would appreciate some information on good spots to do carp/barbel fishing where i can ground feed, dips, floaties, mielies that work well,at Midmar dam. Is the fishing better at night or day. I will be there for a weekend. Would appreciate the info guys Tight Lines

Hi What I've found Mid Mar fishes well Early morning 4am to About 9am and again late evening 5am to 9am. I always camp at morgenson campsite D section its quieter than the others but doesn't have electricity. Baits Plain mieliebomb with Fx/cina on one and Devilsfork on the other. Floeties cina and banana. Was there in December and good sizes was coming out was a little slow though as we had a storm. Best of luck!
