When you are there chat to Marius at the boat house. He will be able to point you in the right direction.
Thanks, will do _seal1_.
I'll be posting pics of fish I catch (If any haha) as well as spot caught and bait used.

Im gearing up, is there any tips guys? tackle and bait wise?

Now is the time for some big musselcrackers so heavy tackle is a must. The kob should be coming out very soon as well and you are in the perfect area for both species. Tight lines

PM me if you want someone to guide you or just want someone to fish with that knows these waters. I'll gladly give tips and you can join me on some trips in the area weather and work permitting. No charge and I'll even supply some bait and tackle if you are short of anything.::tight:

For the lake....target grunter... drift without sinker connected, very small swivel and light line, place mud prawns up your line from hook end.

Allow baited prawn to just bounce along the bottom.

We normaly go to Baywater next to Pinelake. I have caught garick in that slip where the boats move in. Just make sure its early before the boats start. Once again live bait.
Wonder what the waterevel is like. Last year Dec it was very high and the mouth was closed

Any live bait u can get there will work. Normaly get mine with small hook and pilly. And if i say small hook it must be small....or cast net.

Wow, what an informative write up!
Thanks for this, wishing you many more big catches!

Also I have spoke to the guy from the tackle shop who said there is kob being produced their currently and that the mouth is closed they are waiting for it to open naturally.

Packed some of my tackle last night only to find my worker broke my pvc pump.
Hopefully if time permits i'll try to get one today.
