Howsit Guys, I want to know if a shimano exage 110h multiplier rod will be fine to cast from the surf and rock fishing using a saltist bg30h reel and 3-4oz lead(sinker) with small to medium size bait targetting edibles. Your input will be valued Guys

Hi Derash Used mine for Edibles fishing from the surf for a long time. Had it paired with a SL30SH and worked great. Can cast anything from 3 to 7oz with eaze and is actually rated to 8oz. ![]() Last edited on Thu Oct 5th, 2017 07:58 pm by Foose |

Thanks Foose, Due to it being a 11 foot, is it ok to leave on rod stand? Just worried that it might be a bit short......to clear ledges and waves etc. Last edited on Thu Oct 5th, 2017 08:08 pm by derash |

Didn't have a issue with leaving it in the rod stand. Been fishing with the spinning version also scratching on the rocks for galjoen etc and from the surf and works great ![]() ![]()
