 Hi All

Any fishing still permissible at the "Westlake Pond" at the end of Rutter Road?
And if so, what is there in there? Bass, Carp, Kurper?

And Sandvlei, where and what to catch at the mouth / canal and main vlei or Marina da Gama. all suggestions / tips / advise welcome.

 Rutter road has always been allowed for fishing and I grew up fishing in there, have however not been fishing there in the last 2 or 3 years although my dad has fished there recently. Fishing wise we have caught carp, bass and barbel there but the clear does get quite overgrown there at times with weed and not sure what the situation will be now with the lack of rain water all over the cape. I have personally caught a few carp up to 8kg in there!
Yearsback we used to catch much larger carp in the main vlei, we used to fish just up from the bowling green and on the other side by the caravan park.

 Been to Rutterdam thrice in the past 6 weeks and have struggled to get a bite! Even resorted to some bass attempts to no avail. Other folks there have also remarked about the lack of action. Will be trying the main vlei this weekend.
