What a Lekker Fish ;)It looks Like Skivington in PSJ? I have seen some monster Kob being caught with Floating Rapalas off that same rock! What Spinning gear did you use ?

Hi Mrupp

I used the Assassin Sierra Heavy paired with a Shimano Twinpower 5000SW. 25lbs braid.

And the fish was caught using the GT Ice-Cream 2oz Needlenose plug.

I must say that that setup is so versatile.

Used it to target Kob on dropshot and landed my personal best Kob.

What an experience.

Thanks for the info , It looks like a lekker rig - what is the max casting weight that you have tried ? It looks like a 8-9Ft rod . I am looking for something with a bit more backbone preferable piece max 9 ft .
