Diameter of 0.35mm is the maximum you need for an all day flat out casting with weights from 0-4 To really provide clean presentation with all weights I would look at 0.30-0.32mm for M0-M1.5 and a 0.35 for M1.5-P7 The thinner the leader the less your line twists up so a Braid leader really works well and we use 20lbs (27lbs) Jerry Brown green. It is 0.18mm and lays flat on the bottom. Is easily used from a spring to a 120gr weight. As with all braid fishing a finger stall or elastoplast is recommended and always tighten the drag before every single cast.
